In Memory of Tim Bartlett, DVM1955-2026
The Reining Horse Foundation and NRHA mourn the passing of Tim Bartlett, DVM, 70, of Vincennes, Indiana, on June 23, 2026. He lived a remarkable life enriched by his dedication to family, his profession, and the world of equine sports.
After graduating from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1981, Tim embarked on a distinguished career as an equine veterinarian, dedicating three decades to the care, health, and well-being of horses. His passion for the equine world extended well beyond his veterinary practice. He was a well-known horse breeder and judge, passionately involved in the competitive reining community.
Tim was an approved NRHA judge and served as NRHA president. His expertise and commitment earned him significant recognition, including induction into the NRHA Hall of Fame in 2000, a testament to both his impact on the sport and his unwavering integrity.

A visitation will be held July 2 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service at Goodwin-Sievers Family Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St, Vincennes, IN, 47591.
